Social Inclusion Strategy of Bosnia and Herzegovina

Social Inclusion Strategy of Bosnia and Herzegovina

Implementation of Social Inclusion Strategy (SIS) 2008-2013 is one of the key factors in harmonizing social development of BiH with the EU standards. Social inclusion requires partnership between governments and public institutions at all levels and civil society, primary NGOs active in the social sector.

Non-governmental organizations, particularly those that support excluded groups and persons in the state of social need, are actively involved in implementation of SIS. Social Inclusion Foundation in Bosnia and Herzegovina is a specific mechanism for engaging NGOs in implementation of SIS and its priority activities are in full compliance with priorities and objectives of Social Inclusion Strategy of BiH.
