SIF in BiH Client Based Approach 2010/2011
The total number of beneficiaries that were directly supported through the implementation of NGO projects, based on the signed lists of beneficiaries from each project, is 9,527 persons in the first round, i.e. the first year of SIF in BiH functioning, which are the following:
1. NGOs providing assistance to persons with disabilities (10 NGOs); their projects provided direct help to 3,094 beneficiaries.
2. NGOs that are providing assistance for employment and self-employment of unemployed persons through the development of social entrepreneurship (4 NGOs); their projects provided direct help for 850 beneficiaries.
3. NGOs that are providing support to young people through volunteering and employment of young persons (4 NGOs); their projects provided direct help for around 1,525 beneficiaries.
4. Group of Red Cross NGOs that are providing aid to the most vulnerable and poor groups in Bosnia and Herzegovina (3 NGOs); their projects provided direct help for 4,058 beneficiaries.
