SIF in BiH is very active in conducting various researches and assessments, production and publishing of studies, analyses and reports as well as providing recommendations on strengthening social inclusion and social entrepreneurship, poverty reduction, development of civil society and other.

Social Policy Reform and the NGO Sector in BiH – From Protection to Social Inclusion, Sarajevo, December, 2013.
Policy brief provides an in-depth overview and analysis of the social and economic situation in BiH, social protection system, South-East Europe Strategy 2020, with recommendations for development of social entrepreneurship and role of NGOs in BiH.

Heads or Tails – Government Allocations for the Non-governmental Sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina for 2012, Sarajevo, February, 2013.
The research provides an insight into financial parameters and data on allocations of the government sector for NGOs in 2012 which reflects success of cooperation of the two sectors, as well as process of establishing institutional cooperation and partnership between the government bodies and civil society organizations.

The Study analyzes problems of poverty, social exclusion, social protection system, position of the marginalized groups, capacities and work of the NGO sector and media in the Western Balkans region and provides comprehensive and practical recommendations on how to solve these problems through regional cooperation of NGOs in the Western Balkans.

The analysis is based on a holistic approach to the problems of poverty, social exclusion, social protection system, and position of the vulnerable groups, size, structure and funding of the NGO sector and media. The Study provides recommendations on strengthening the role of NGOs in the processes of social inclusion and poverty reduction, partnership with government institutions, networking of NGOs, necessary legal reforms and other.
